“B&W: THE POETRY OF LIGHT AND SHADOW” EXHIBIT
Black & White: The Poetry of Light and Shadow celebrates Photo Artfolio’s third year and the enduring power of black & white photography. To mark this milestone, we offered a one-time free submission and received nearly 1,000 entries from photographers across 60 countries and 39 U.S. states, plus Washington, DC—an extraordinary response that reflects both the reach of our community and the exceptional quality of work submitted. Stripped of color, these images invite us to focus on tone, contrast, and light, revealing moments of quiet intensity and shared human experience. In a world saturated with color, black & white photography distills each scene to its essence, allowing these photographs to resonate across cultures and borders. We are deeply grateful to every artist who took part and proud to present this global collection.
