Color can transform the ordinary, shape a mood, draw our attention, and change the way we experience a photograph.

Photo Artfolio invites photographers worldwide to submit work for Colorscapes, an online exhibition exploring the expressive power of color in photography.

From bold, saturated hues to subtle palettes and quiet tonal relationships, we seek photographs in which color plays an essential role. It might be the unexpected collision of colors on a city street, the shifting tones of a landscape, a portrait defined by its palette, or an abstract composition built entirely around color, light, and form.

We welcome images that use color to evoke emotion, create atmosphere, reveal connections, or simply celebrate the visual pleasure of seeing the world in color. Colorscapes is open to all photographic genres and approaches, including documentary, portraiture, street, landscape, nature, architecture, still life, conceptual, fine art, and experimental photography.

Awards

All accepted photographs will be featured in Photo Artfolio's online exhibition.

Entry Fee

• $20 for the first image

• $5 for each additional image

• Up to 20 images may be submitted

Eligibility

Open to photographers worldwide. Amateur and professional photographers are encouraged to apply.

Image Requirements

• JPEG format only

• Minimum 1,200 pixels on the longest side

• Maximum file size: 5 MB

• All work must be original and created by the submitting photographer

• AI-generated imagery is not eligible for consideration

Jurying and Notification

All submissions will be reviewed by Creative Director Julia Cumes and an anonymous committee of jurors. Notification of results will be sent via email on November 11th, 2026. Due to the volume of submissions, individual feedback cannot be provided.

Sales & Rights

Photographers retain full copyright to their work.

All sales inquiries will be directed to the photographer's website, and photographers receive 100% of any resulting sales.

By submitting work, photographers grant Photo Artfolio permission to display accepted images on its website, social media channels, and promotional materials related to the exhibition. Photographers will be credited whenever feasible. Images will not be used for any other purpose without the photographer's permission.
